Galileo
Systems' Telescope testing platform provides
a secure way for you to
assess a person's skill on live equipment,
wherever that person, or equipment,
is located. These assessments
can be used as either a teaching tool to provide
feedback to students
who are learning your system, or a certification mechanism
to validate
their skills.
Acting
much like a lab assistant, Telescope assigns a task for the student
to
complete
and, after completion, interrogates the lab equipment
to verify that
the student has successfully completed the task.
If not, Telescope tells the student
what they did wrong and can offer
suggestions
on what further study is needed.
The presentation of meaningful
prescriptive feedback to students increases both
the rate at
which
they learn and their confidence in performing their job.
