Galileo Galilei

Our influence by Galileo began in 1609, when Galileo became aware of the invention of the telescope. At that time only a small number of telescopes had been made previously. It is believed that Galileo is the first to have scientifically tested the notion that what one saw through the telescope was truly what was happening at the great distances involved.

We have adopted Galileo as our Patron because of our belief that Computerized Performance Testing performs the same function; that of determining what is happening at a distance.
